上位目標・目的

This long-term training program aims to develop the human resources to improve the local foods and their safety along with competitive market under world globalization and to provide a great potential for the sustainable development of local agriculture and its related industries.

コース目標

Participants are able to instruct researchers who will perform planning and  execution for the development of food research and technology in their own country. As a result, these talented people will be the driving force behind the country’s economy, especially in the field of agriculture and food industry and contribute to their sustainable development.

コース内容

l. To identify problems and make draft of research plan

2. To be able to explain the advanced specialized field in food science and technology, the latest technique on food sciences and research planning.

3. To be able to explain the agricultural and food industry by case study, practical work and internship.

4. To propose action plans for the development of agriculture and food industry in their countries

研修員の資格要件

This program is designed for the promising active staff of governmental research organizations and universities in food science and technology which will cover the following fields; biotechnology, food safety, food functions, food processing and fermentation

<Recommendable Qualifications>
l)Age: be under 40 years old (Age around 30 years old is preferred.)
2)Participants who are working or will work with JICA as counterparts are given priority.
